My response today to persecution is that though I have experienced very little of it in my life, my prayer is that somehow I can identify with the millions of persecuted believers around the world. There are incredible organizations such as Voice of the Martyrs that are committed to praying, giving and bringing light to the persecuted church. I encourage you to check them out and see how you can pray and get involved in practical ways. I'm asking God today to help remind me daily of the persecuted so that I can pray and act of their behalf. Should the day come when I may ever have to go through something like they have, I humbly pray for the grace of my Savior but then I must legitimately and intimately KNOW Him.
